We need an evening dishwasher. Pay varies based on experience and availability. The dishwasher's primary responsibility is ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware in a kitchen setting. This involves loading and unloading dishwashers, cleaning by hand when necessary, and maintaining a clean and organized dish area.
Key Responsibilities of a Dishwasher:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware using both dishwashing machines and by hand when necessary.
Loading and Unloading:
Accurately loading and unloading dishes, glassware, and utensils into and out of dishwashing machines.
Maintenance:
Ensuring that the dishwashing area is clean, organized, and free of clutter.
Scraping and Sorting:
Scraping excess food from dishes and sorting them into appropriate areas.
Storage:
Properly storing clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their designated storage areas.
Assisting with Other Tasks:
Emptying trash.
Assisting with food preparation.
Following Sanitation Guidelines:
Adhering to all food safety and sanitation procedures and regulations.
Reporting Issues:
Reporting any sanitation or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
