Overview
Located in Western Pennsylvania, Butler County, north of Pittsburgh; Jackson Township is a growing community of approximately 6,000 residents. With its proximity to 1-79 and 1-76 corridors, the Township is a hub for transportation, distribution and flex space in a park-like setting. Amenities of the area include businesses, recreation and housing.
Jackson Township, a second-class township, is governed by three elected supervisors. A number of appointed boards and commissions assist in the delivery of municipal services.
The Jackson Community Foundation (JCF) is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of Jackson Township residents by maximizing and coordinating resources for community development, public services, public facilities, and infrastructure. Our goals are to foster collaboration, promote recreation, build a sense of community, and enhance Jackson Township.
