Overview
Healthy Kids Day® is the YMCA’s national initiative dedicated to improving the health and well‑being of kids and families. For more than 30 years, YMCAs across the country have hosted free community events designed to inspire healthy habits and active lifestyles—especially as summer approaches.
At Healthy Kids Day, families are invited to enjoy a variety of fun, engaging, and family‑friendly activities that encourage kids to stay active physically, mentally, and socially. The event highlights the many ways the YMCA supports youth development, healthy living, and family connection, while helping families discover programs and resources that keep kids active all summer long.
Healthy Kids Day is FREE and open to members and the community and celebrates kids being kids—through movement, play, creativity, and connection.
