Front of House Staff at Nosh & Curd

Nosh & Curd is a specialty cheese shop and gourmet market located in Mars, PA, rooted in community, connection, and really good food. We curate exceptional cheeses, thoughtful pairings, and memorable experiences that invite people to gather, celebrate, and slow down. We’re growing our team and hiring front and back of house staff who value hospitality, teamwork, and doing things with intention. From the shop floor to behind the scenes, every role at Nosh & Curd plays a part in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Hours: Tuesday–Friday Afternoons (15–20 hours/week)

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, greeting and assisting guests with purchases, orders, and recommendations.
• Prepare and serve coffee, breakfast, and lunch items with attention to detail and presentation.
• Assist in cheese and retail sales, including inventory, and describing flavors to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house, including counters, tables, and retail displays.
• Support private and public events, tastings, and workshops by setting up, serving, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Handle transactions efficiently using the POS system.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail is preferred.
• Stay knowledgeable about our cheese selection, oil and vinegars, menu items, and other specialty products to make informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

• A passion for food, especially cheese and specialty products.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours ( not limited to weekends and events) .
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
