BUTLER COUNTY, PA (May 6, 2024) – Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau (BCTCB) is excited to announce the launch of its new mobile pass, Hops, Grapes & Grains: A Tastemakers' Tour. This innovative initiative aims to showcase the diverse range of local breweries, wineries, and distilleries in the area.
BCTCB has partnered with technology company Bandwango to create this new experience. With the free mobile pass as their guide, users can easily navigate through the 13 participating establishments and discover their very own signature drink.
“Moving our trails to digital makes it even more accessible for visitors to enjoy,” said Bureau President, Jack Cohen, “this is just another tool we’re providing visitors to ensure they have the best possible experience.”
Users will visit a dedicated landing page where they can sign up for the pass. A link is sent to them via text and email, which opens the pass. The user can then add a shortcut to their home screen, where they can access the pass at any time.
As participants visit local breweries, wineries, and distilleries, they can check in using the mobile pass to earn points toward exclusive prizes. These exciting rewards can be picked up at the Butler County Tourism office located in Zelienople.
“The Hops Grapes & Grains: A Tastemakers’ Tour is such a great way to engage and encourage new visitors across all of our libation makers in Butler County,” said Bureau board member, Vice Chair and brewmaster of Burgh'ers Brewing, Neil Glausier. “Bringing it all together truly shows the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. We love the new digital platform.”
The Bureau plans to gradually digitally convert all of their paper pass trails. The Hops, Grapes, & Grains mobile pass is available now! Visit www.visitbutlercounty.com/food-drink/tasty-trails/hops-grapes-grains
