Experience Butler County Announces Relocation to Historic T.W. Phillips Building in Downtown Butler

BUTLER, PA — (May 19, 2026) - Following the sale of its former property, Experience Butler County (EBC) has officially announced the relocation of its administrative offices to downtown Butler. The county’s official tourism promotion agency will establish its new home in the historic T.W. Phillips Building, located at 205 North Main Street.

The relocation is a key result of EBC’s current strategic planning, which focuses on establishing a central presence within the county seat to better serve its partners. The move also comes as a direct result of the organization expanding its operations. Over the past few years, EBC has grown both its marketing and sales teams to actively attract major events, meetings, conferences, and sporting events to the region. Because these initiatives bring a significant economic impact and visitor spending directly into the local economy, the organization has simply outgrown its previous footprint and required a larger space.

“While we are incredibly excited for this next chapter, we want to acknowledge our wonderful years at our former home,” said Amy Pack, President of Experience Butler County. “The Zelienople community has been incredibly warm and welcoming to us over the years, and we are deeply grateful for their support as we grew to this point. Moving to the county seat makes us significantly more visible to the partners that we serve. It ensures we are easily accessible to everyone who makes Butler County a premier destination.”

The historic T.W. Phillips Building, an architectural centerpiece of Main Street, has been carefully maintained by its current owner, local attorney Michael Zunder. Zunder has prioritized keeping the building in excellent working order while seeking an opportunity that would respect its heritage.

In addition to expanded administrative space, the new location will feature a dedicated Visitor Center. This downtown hub will serve as a premier resource for travelers and locals alike.

Details regarding an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and public open house will be shared later this year. During the transition, Experience Butler County remains fully operational and dedicated to its mission of showcasing the region.
