SUMMER EVENTS BRING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF VISITORS TO BUTLER COUNTY, PA
BUTLER COUNTY, PA (July 14, 2025) – Butler County’s major summer events are projected to bring in a quarter of a million attendees. Early summer season events have already brought in an estimated 200,000 people.
BUTLER COUNTY, PA (July 14, 2025) – Butler County’s major summer events are projected to bring in a quarter of a million attendees. Early summer season events have already brought in an estimated 200,000 people.
- The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival: 2,000 Jeeps and an estimated 30,000 visitors
- The Big Butler Fair: 150,000 attendees
- Lernerville Firecracker 100: Almost 10,000 attendees on the peak day
- Mars New Year Festival: 8,000 attendees
"We are excited to see continued growth at these events each year,” said Amy Pack, President of Experience Butler County PA. “These events attract new visitors to Butler County and give them a reason to come back every year.”
Several major annual events are coming up with estimated attendance numbers as follows:
- Moraine State Park Regatta- August 2-3: 20,000 attendees
- Butler Farm Show - August 4-9: 50,000 attendees
Additionally, monthly street fairs and festivals across the county are expected to draw their own large crowds.
Event attendance makes up a partial percentage of tourism’s economic impact in Butler County, reflected in restaurant sales, hotel stays, transportation, and entertainment spending. The most recent numbers from the Economic Impact of Pennsylvania’s Travel and Tourism Industry report show over $666.3 million in visitor spending, an increase of 10% over the previous year.
