Luckily, Slippery Rock University’s Conference Center checks each one of these boxes, eliminating the stress in planning and guaranteeing your event is a “rock ‘in” success.
- The Student Center features diverse event spaces, including a lecture-style ballroom with a 750-person capacity, a luxurious theater with in-house AV tech, and seven fully equipped rooms with technology and portable furniture.
- Between the meeting spaces, enjoy the fireplace in the commuter lounge and sip a latte from the facility’s in-house coffee shop.
Camps & Summer Programs
Between May and August, SRU hosts unique camp programs for your sports team, church group, band, or seasonal organization!
- Home to 660 acres of fields, athletic centers and stadiums as well as conference centers and classrooms, SRU accommodates the perfect, all-inclusive setting for your summer camp or seasonal event.
- Consider your housing completely covered when you book with SRU. With suites including 2-4 beds, 1-2 bathrooms, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator – as well as that much-needed air conditioning! – event participants can kick back in a space of their very own after a long and incredible day!
- Tuck in your napkin and grab your fork; your meal is served at Boozel Dining Hall. With an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring home-cooked and traditional favorites, your guests’ stomachs – and palates – are guaranteed to be satisfied!
- Athletic facilities include nine volleyball courts, six full basketball courts, soccer, baseball, multi-purpose fields, tennis courts, and a football stadium.
- The Aebersold Recreation Center offers 82,000 square-feet of state of state-of-the-art recreational programs, fitness rooms, five full courts, a climbing wall, and a swimming pool.
- If you’re feeling extra brave, ask about the Rock’s High Ropes Course or their Ski Lodge!
- Make the most of the Smith Student Center’s academic facilities and conference centers. This architectural masterpiece, complete with in-house dining options, offers a ballroom and theater, classrooms, and auditoriums, all complete with state-of-the-art technology.
