Overview

The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise posted. Park information, launch permits, cabin information and assistance can be obtained at the park office near the entrance to the South Shore. The office is open year-round, Monday through Friday, 8 AM-4 PM, and weekends during the summer. #MoraineSP Top 10 Activities to do at Moraine Bike the scenic seven-mile paved bike trail. Start at Spoke House Bike Rental on North Shore Drive. (Note, it’s not a loop!) Stay overnight in a modern lakefront cabin. Call 888-PA-PARKS for reservations. Climb to the top of the Jacksville Esker Glacial Deposit while taking the self-guided Trail of Geology Tour. Explore the 3,225-acre Lake Arthur. Pontoon boats, kayaks, canoes and more can be rented from Crescent Bay Boat Rental on the South Shore. Try your hand at one of the top disc golf courses in the country! Moraine’s 18-hole course is located in the Lakeview Beach area on North Shore Drive. Search for ducks, loons, bald eagles, osprey and great blue herons from the waterfowl observation deck on Park Road. Savor spectacular scenic views from overlooks along the Glacier Ridge Trail. Maps can be found here or at the South Shore office. Picnic by the lake! Try the Lakeside Picnic Area on the South Shore. Visit Moraine Preservation Fund’s gift shop located at McDanel’s Launch on the North Shore and get tickets for a Nautical Nature Pontoon Cruise.
