Overview
You are in for an incredible treat! An English Journey brings Cellist, Angela Park, to center stage as she performs Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto. Your BCSO will also perform Four Sea Interludes by Benjamin Britten, and we honor our Young Musicians of Note at intermission.
We will also premiere a new work in partnership with the Sing Me A Story Foundation. A child with medical need will "tell as story" to a composer, who will then, under the coordination of Music Director Moon Doh, turn that story into a full orchestral composition. The family of this child, as well as members of the Foundation, will record the performance and raise funds for the medical needs. More details to come!
