Overview
This event is part of the City Nature Challenge. Participants should download the iNaturalist app ahead of time as we will be using this app on our walk.
During this walk, we’ll look for birds, wildlife, and plants. Participants will record what
they see on the iNaturalist app, as part of the City Nature Challenge.
The path is mostly flat and is mostly grass covered. There are no restrooms at this
location. Please bring your own binoculars.
Where: 40.95220 N, 79.99204 W From Route 8, turn onto Swamp Run Road. Follow
the road about 1.5 miles. Where the road veers sharply to the right, you will see a
Moraine Park access road straight ahead. Follow this dirt and gravel access road 0.3
mile to the turnaround which is also a parking area. This is where we’ll meet.
Register: No RSVP necessary. This is a free event.
