Overview
Harmony & Zelienople are partnering to celebrate History Week with a day full of activities. Activities will start in Zelienople from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., with continued events in Harmony from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Harmony will host the following:
-Bake oven demonstrations (5-5:30 p.m.)
-Bottle Brush Gallery & Center for the Arts will offer a free art project for kids, along with vendors and demonstrators
-Legendary Neff House Ice Cream invites you to treat yourself to their special red, white, and blue ice cream
-Stewart Hall (218 Mercer Street) will have an exhibit of John Trumbull paintings depicting the Revolutionary War & Robert Griffing, Native American painter and author
-Harmony Wine Cellar (Located inside the Harmony Museum) welcomes visitors to the original wine cellar of the Harmonists
-Wagner Bentel Garden (222 Mercer Street) will host a native and medicinal plan presentation by historical agriculturalist of Old Economy
-Washington's Cabin will be open, featuring a display of George Washington's 1753 trip to the area and a presentation by Jason Cherry, author and speaker.
-Weavers' Cabin will have live weaving demonstration and make your own rug for $3
-Wood St. Park - Reenactors performances
-Ziegler Cabin (546 Main St, Harmony, PA 16037) - life in 1880 Harmony
Local shops will be open, including Harmony Decor and More!
