Overview

Do you like solving mysteries? Join us for a case of HOO done it as we investigate a crime and attempt to clear the names of our Pennsylvania owls! Learn what makes these avian predators so fearsome and why their unique adaptations gave them a bad reputation. Afterwards, we will prowl for owls on a short, easy hike. Please dress for the weather.

Take the South Shore exit off 422, drive past the park office and turn right at the Pleasant Valley nonmotorized launch area. Follow the park program signs and park in the lot for the Sunken Garden Trail. For directions, follow this link:.
