PASTEL STUDIO / Adult Art Class

ADULTS | 3-WEEK CLASS | 6:00–8:00 PM $75.
LAYER COLOR. CREATE TEXTURE. MAKE IT YOURS.
Ready to get a little messy? Soft pastels are an expressive, hands-on medium that invites you to play with color, texture, and movement. In this three-week class, artists will learn the fundamentals of working with chalk pastels while creating a finished piece they’ll be proud to take home.
Each class will introduce new techniques and ways to work with the medium, including mark making, blending, layering, color mixing, and creating texture. Reference photographs will be broken down into approachable steps, with the instructor demonstrating each stage before artists create their own pastel painting.

Whether you’re completely new to pastels or have some experience and want to build your skills, this class offers plenty of guidance, experimentation, and room to develop your own creative style.
